Who we are

Horizon Web & AI Pty Ltd operates this website, trading as Plug into Solar (“we”, “us”). Our privacy contact is Blair Steenholdt at blair@plugintosolar.com.au.

This website gathers expressions of interest and contact enquiries. We are not taking orders or payments.

Information we collect

We collect information you submit through our registration and contact forms, including:

• Your name, email address, and optional phone number
• Your state or territory and postcode
• Optional property type, ownership or rental details, product interests and messages
• Enquiry type and any supplier or company name, website and details you provide
• Privacy acknowledgements, marketing preferences, consent records and submission timestamps
• Form source and campaign information in links, such as UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content

To help limit automated submissions, the website uses a hidden spam-check field and a hashed network-address identifier for rate limiting. Technical error reporting may also be used to diagnose website problems. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.

• To manage expressions of interest and assess demand by location, property and product interest
• To operate, troubleshoot and protect the website
• To send product, regulatory or availability updates only where you have opted in

If you do not provide required form details, we may be unable to process your registration or enquiry. Optional details and marketing consent are not required.

Marketing preferences

Marketing consent is separate, optional and unticked by default. Submitting a contact enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We record your preference; this does not mean automated marketing campaigns are currently active.

You can withdraw consent by emailing blair@plugintosolar.com.au, or by using an unsubscribe link where one is provided. Owner notifications about submissions are administrative messages to us, not marketing messages to you.

Storage and service providers

Form submissions are stored in the website database provided through Lovable Cloud. Authorised owner access is through a restricted dashboard. We may download CSV exports and include submitted details in owner email notifications.

Lovable provides the website platform, Cloud database service and managed transactional email service. Our business mailbox uses Microsoft 365 through GoDaddy. The website also loads its Manrope font from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to deliver the font.

Service providers may process or store information outside Australia. The specific processing countries for website hosting, database, transactional email and mailbox services have not yet been confirmed for this website. We do not represent that information stays only in Australia.

Cookies, browser storage and analytics

The owner sign-in uses essential browser storage to maintain an authenticated session. Campaign parameters are stored for the current browser session and submitted with forms.

The website records limited interaction events, such as registration-button clicks, category selections and successful submissions, through local event hooks. These events are not intended to contain personal form details. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising audience uploads or third-party advertising tracker is configured in the reviewed website code.

Disclosure

We use service providers to operate the website, store information, deliver owner notifications and process enquiries. We may disclose information where required or authorised by law.

We do not routinely share enquiry details with manufacturers or sell them to advertisers. Any additional lead-management forwarding must be reviewed before it is enabled.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards, including restricted owner access, to help protect personal information. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

We aim to retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or to meet legal obligations. This includes information held in the website database, downloaded CSV exports and email copies. Retention and deletion arrangements across these copies are being reviewed.

Access, correction and deletion

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email blair@plugintosolar.com.au. We may ask for reasonable identity verification before acting on a request. We consider deletion requests subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.

Privacy complaints

Send privacy concerns or complaints to Blair Steenholdt at blair@plugintosolar.com.au, describing the issue and your preferred contact method. We aim to respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, external complaint options may include the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where it has jurisdiction.
